Day one of the Battle of the Foothills saw Rae Croteau Jr. finish with the top time of the night while Kris Molle, Chad Fike and Obrey Motowylo rounded out the top four.

Night one also saw Gage Flad make his driver debut. Even with two seconds in penalties the new driver won his first heat, during his first show, the first time he drove out onto the track. The ex outrider explains how fait maybe played a part in him starting his driving career now vs at a later time.

Night two action will get underway at the High River Ag Grounds around 7pm.
